Sesame Tahini Cookies
Nutrient dense sesame tahini cookies, crafted with almond meal; rich in planted protein, calcium and healthy fats. Free from gluten and dairy and naturally sweetened for wholesome nourishment.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sesame seeds (for dusting the top)
1.5 cups Almond meal
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Sea salt
1/3 cup Honey, Maple or Sweetener of choice
1/3 cup Tahini
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Method:
1) Add dry ingredients into a mixing bowl, incorporate
2) Combine wet ingredients to dry mix until a cookie dough texture is formed
3) Add small round balls to a lined tray, flatten with your 2 fingers
4) Sprinkle with sesame seeds
5) Bake for 160C for 15-20mins (Watch they don’t burn)
6) Store in an airtight container
7) Enjoy! I usually make a double batch as they don’t last long in our house
