Pineapple, Turmeric + Ginger Smoothie
This nourishing whole-food smoothie supports inflammation pathways, digestion and respiratory health. Ginger and turmeric provide potent anti-inflammatory compounds, while the pineapple core delivers bromelian, a natural mucolytic and digestive enzyme. Spinach, hemp seeds, and lemon juice add minerals, essential fatty acids, and antioxidant support. A simple, yet functional smoothie.
Ingredients:
1/2 banana (frozen)
1 cup pineapple diced (include core)
1 tsp ginger (fresh or dried)
1 tsp turmeric (fresh or dried)
Juice of half a lemon
1 handful of baby spinach (or greens of choice)
1 tbsp hemp seeds
2 cups coconut water
Method:
1) Blitz all ingredients in a high speed blender until smoothie
