Mixed Seed Crackers

These simple, nutrient-dense crackers are made from a wholesome blend of flaxseeds, chia seeds, sunflower, sesame and pumpkin seeds. Naturally gluten-free and rich in fibre, healthy fats and plant-based protein, they support steady energy, hormonal health, gut bacterial health and satiety. Crisp, nourishing and full of plant based goodness; the perfect base for dips, toppings or a crunchy, nourishing snack.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup flax seeds

  • 3 tsp chia seeds

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • *optional flavouring: 1/2 tsp garlic powder/onion powder, 1/2 tsp dried herbs and/or nutritional yeast

  • 1 cup water

Method:

1) Preheat oven to 175 degree’s

2) Line a tray with baking paper

3) Combine dry ingredients in bowl and then add water, mix together

4) Let sit for 5minutes until mixture forms a gel-like texture

5) Pour onto tray. Using the back of a spatula or spoon, spread the mixture thinly and evenly as possible

6) Bake for 25-35mins until crackers are firm and start to brown on edges

7) Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks
