Overnight Berry Oats

This is a simple, nutritious breakfast that can be made up quickly the night before. A nourishing breakfast for hormone modulation.

Soluble fibre in oats, chia and flax assists with liver detoxifaction. High phytonutrients in berries & bee pollen. Plenty of gut adds with pomegrante, yoghurt and soluble/insoluble fibre. Cinnamon is great for blood sugar balancing, along with protein content in all the nuts, seeds, bee pollen.

Brazil nuts are high in selenium, a key nutrient for progesterone production (our calming hormone)

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Cup Rolled Oats. I used GF (or swap with rolled quinoa/barley)

1 Tbsp Flax Seeds (ground)

4 Brazil Nuts, chopped

1 Tsp Bee Pollen

1 Tbsp Chai Seeds

1 Tbsp Hemp Seeds

1 Tsp Cinnamon

2 Tbsp Yoghurt of Choice. I used Greek coconut yoghurt

120ml of Coconut Water or Milk. I used almon milk

Small handful of Mixed Berries and Pomegrante Seeds

METHOD

1          Using a 500ml wide neck jar or bowl, add oats & chia seeds. Add milk and mix well.

2         Add the berries and pomegrante seeds, followed by yoghurt of choice.

3         Scatter the ground flax, chopped brazil nuts + hemp seeds.

4         Sprinkle the cinnamon + bee pollen on top (plus any extras).

5         Leave in fridge overnight for the oats + chia to soak up the liquid.

6         Enjoy the next morning, for a quick nutrient dense breakfast.
