Raw Cacao Brownie
Quick and easy brownie, this magnesium rich slice is packed full of essential Vitamins, Minerals and EFA’s
Ingredients:
1 cup Cashews
1 cup Spelt flakes
4 Medjool Dates
1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
4 Tbsp Hemp seeds
2 Tbsp Cacao powder
2 Tbsp Protein powder
1/2 cup Almond butter
1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips (or cacao nibs)
Pinch Sea salt
3-5 Tbsp almond milk
Method:
1) In a food processor, pulse the cashews and quinoa flakes until a course flour is made.
2) Add all other ingredients, except almond milk. Blitz and then add almond milk, a tbsp at a time until dough presses together.
3) Press mixture into a lined baking tin and freeze for 20mins.
4) Once set, you are welcome to melt some dark chocolate of choice (watch sugar content) and sprinkle with hemp seeds.
Will last in fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for longer (if it lasts that long!)
